The Energy Leadership Index Assessment
The Energy Leadership™ Index (ELI) is a one-of-a-kind assessment that enables leaders to hold up mirrors to their perceptions, attitudes, behaviors, and overall leadership capabilities. The ELI often serves as the initial launching point for the Energy Leadership Development System (ELDS), to provide a baseline for your current performance and overall satisfaction. Whether you proceed through the full leadership development system or not, the realizations that you'll gain from the Energy Leadership Index assessment and debrief process alone will change the way you view your world.
Background: An Attitudinal Assessment
There are two main types of assessments: Personality and Attitudinal. Personality based assessments, such as Myers Briggs and D.I.S.C. are valuable tools that identify certain personality types, to help people gain a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. By understanding your personality and how it relates to what you do, you can "work with what you have," to adapt your behavior to function more effectively.
The ELI is an attitudinal assessment, which is based on an energy/action model. It measures how your attitudes and perspectives are impacting how you engage and influence your environment. It provides valuable information about how your awareness and perceptions relate to your overall ability to take action and create satisfaction in your life. Since attitudes are subjective, you can learn how to shift the ones that limit you, and reinforce the ones that best serve you in achieving your goals. So using the ELI for targeted insight, your coach can walk you through strategies to vastly improve your awareness of your perspectives, master your capacity to engage your energy, and substantially increase your personal and professional effectiveness.
