Emotional Intelligence
EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-360 Assessment

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is popularly defined as the ability to recognize, understand and manage our own emotions, as well as the emotions of others.  It's a set of social skills that collectively establishes how well we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way.

An individual's EQ is broken down into 5 components:  Self-Perception, Self-Expression, Interpersonal, Decision Making, and Stress Management.  Each of these categories is also broken down into 3 sub-categories as well, so the EQ assessment often provides a vast amount of insight on specific areas to target for maximal impact.

Additionally, the EQ-360 Assessment allows individuals to gain perspectives on how their interactions and behaviors are interpreted by the people they regularly engage on a day-to-day basis.  This exposes additional blind spots and fosters opportunity for development and more comprehensive solutions overall.

Bottom line: Emotional Intelligence development is highly effective in building resilience, managing conflict, improving communication, developing teams, and strengthening organizational culture.

It's regularly used in a wide variety of practical applications including:

  • High Potential Development

  • Leadership Development

  • Executive Coaching

  • Succession Planning

  • Team Building

  • Performance Management

  • Change Management

  • Risk Management

  • Managing Diversity

  • Stress Management

  • Self-Development

  • Career Planning
